IFJMS has initiated a three-year over-arching project under the title ‘Migration and Transformation in Jewish Music’. (November 2020-November 2023). Members are invited to participate in any appropriate way: They can offer to run mini projects such as research seminars, conferences, cantorial gatherings, summer schools, courses, workshops, working groups, compositions, performances, children’s activities or other activity in Jewish music under the heading above. The project culminates, all being well, in in November 2023 with an International Conference as well as a European Cantors Convention in Hannover.
